Guest Reader: Lawyer!

Invite a lawyer into your classroom to read the book "Andrew Learns about Lawyers" about the law and answer your students' burning questions. We will donate the book to your classroom library after the reading.

Courthouse Visit and Quizzo!

Take a trip to your local courthouse! We'll give you a tour, introduce you to a judge, and play our Court Quizzo game!

You be the Jury!

In this engaging lesson, students learn about Delaware's different courts by acting as the jury in real life cases.

4th Grade Mock Trial

Our lawyers will come to your classroom and help faciliate this exciting scripted Mock Trial. Once your students are ready to perform, we can do so at the courthouse! A great tool for critical thinking!

What is a Judge?

In this lesson, we invite a Judge to your classroom to teach about the role of Judges as leaders of the Judicial branch.

What is a Lawyer?

In this workshop, we bring lawyers into the classroom to teach students about the difference between civil and criminal law as well as the basics of being an attorney.

The 7 lessons meet Civics standard two K-3a. Students will understand the difference between criminal and civil laws, and the foundations of their responsibilities as members of a society.
